Perfect Delivery was launched in 2000 and has grown into a household name among bowlers. As one of the major bowls sponsors in South Africa, we consider our involvement in bowls as a partnership involving Perfect Delivery Brokers, Zurich SA (our underwriter) and the entire bowling fraternity (Bowls South Africa, your District, your Club and you).
Most bowlers are aware of the benefits Perfect Delivery offers them. However, below you will find some of the most important aspects that you may not know of.
Perfect Delivery is a motor and household insurance policy covering assets belonging to bowlers. These would include cars, caravans, trailers, boats, house (building), contents and all risks (items such as jewelry, cameras and cell phones).
Zurich SA (previously known as SA Eagle), one of the top short-term insurance companies in South Africa and a brand name in bowls, underwrites the Perfect Delivery policy. Zurich SA, in partnership with Perfect Delivery Brokers, was involved as title sponsor to national tournaments since our launch in 2000 - World Bowls 2000, SA Masters since 2001, Men's Nationals since 2002, Women's Nationals since 2004, and the Bowls South Africa Centenary Pairs competition in 2004.
Perfect Delivery has been involved as a sponsor of various districts, national and international tournaments, most recently the English Test and the World Bowls SA Atlantic Championship at Wanderers.
The Perfect Delivery policy is administered by Perfect Delivery Brokers and its benefits, set out below, are negotiated by Perfect Delivery Brokers on behalf of our bowler policyholders. It is important to remember that these benefits are not available from any other broker, even though Zurich SA may be the underwriter of the other policy you have access to.
Perfect Delivery Brokers have only bowlers as policyholders and we are totally committed to serving the bowling fraternity and bowlers' motor and household insurance needs. This commitment enables us to offer a personalized service to our policyholders.
Our members of staff are trained to offer an exceptionally high standard of service. Our claims are outsourced to The Claims Company, a company specializing in insurance claims administration. We undertake to facilitate the settling of all non-motor claims less than R10 000 within 24 hours of receipt of the necessary documentation and all other claims in terms of a service level agreement.
WE provide a product that addresses the specific insurance needs of bowlers:
1. We reward you when you achieve an "8" or "9" - R1 000 in an official club competition, R2 000 in a district or national competition and R3 000 on international level. So far we have paid R1.4 million towards 8's and 9's since inception.
2. Your bowls and accessories are covered automatically for up to R4 000 per set with a maximum of R8 000 per family, without you having to pay any additional premium for this benefit.
3. You automatically have R10 000 legal costs insurance at a contribution of only R10 per month, with an option to increase this valuable cover to R70 000.
4. If you are under 50 and have been insured with us for 3 years or longer and have not claimed for 3 consecutive years, you need not pay any excess in case of a claim.
5. If you are aged 50 or older, you pay NO excess.
6. If you have been covered by us for 3 years or longer and are aged 70 or older, your premiums will not increase unless your cover is increased for as long as you do not claim.
7. You have access to Perfect Delivery Assist, a 24/7/365 emergency hotline facility that will provide you with motor accident/roadside, medical, legal and household assistance.
8. Free car hire for 30 days if your vehicle is stolen, hijacked or written-off.
9. We guarantee your premiums won't increase for the first 12 months.
10. Funeral cover of R10 000 for your family.
11. DataSave - store and protect your cell phone numbers for free.
WE offer competitive premiums. Because we only have bowlers as policy holders, we are in a position to offer better priced policies without compromising service or cover.
Perfect Delivery also offers commercial (business) insurance. We provide cover for bowls clubs as well and for businesses run and /or owned by bowlers or referred to us by bowlers.
Perfect Delivery contributes financially to clubs and districts thanks to the support we receive from bowlers. We sponsor clubs based on a percentage of the annual commission we receive from every Perfect Delivery policy. Up to the end of December 2008 we paid R1.5 million to clubs nationally. Our top participating national club is Edenvale in Eastern Gating. So far this club has received in excess of R130 000. The amounts paid to clubs help to keep your annual club fees as low as possible and the greens in top form!
Our goal is to reach at least 50% of all bowlers in the next 5 years. This achievement will raise our annual financial contribution to clubs and districts substantially.
This is no pipe dream, it falls right within the targets we set for the next 5 years and we know we can do it together!
